On Silence & Us

So, if you are too tired to speak, sit next to me because I, too, am fluent in silence. This is us too. You don’t always have to have the right words, and neither do I. When words feel too heavy or too much, we don’t have to fill the quiet. I know your silence, and you know mine. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong it just means we don’t have to perform or explain or talk to be close. We can just be. Quiet together, tired together, and still completely together. I’m always right here, whether we’re talking or not.

On the good days and the bad days, I’ll still be right here, loving you and choosing you every single day. That’s my promise to you.
